Everyone is raving about Love at First Sight.

Rom-coms are good for the soul. I'd honestly happily watch nothing but When Harry Met Sally, 13 Going on 30, and How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days forever. I'm guilty of re-watching the same movies over and over again because I just can't get enough of them. Smith's best-selling novel The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. Book-to-screen adaptations are usually a huge success when it comes to rom-coms. Just look at Love Rosie, Bridget Jones's Diary, and To All The Boys I Loved Before. Love at First Sight ticks all the rom-com boxes for me, especially because it's only 90 minutes long. It has two charming leads, it's set in London, and has a pretty decent soundtrack. On their flight from New York to London, Hadley and Oliver fall in love with each other. However, they lose each other at customs and the possibility of ever meeting each other again seems improbable, but destiny may have a way of changing the odds. The film stars Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy as Hadley and Oliver. It's charming, cheesy, and a little cringe-worthy but that's what makes it an easy watch. Love at First Sight doesn't quite live up to Set It Up's modern-day rom-com standards, but it's worth a watch. It's the one modern-day rom-com that doesn't try too hard. And one that'll have you sobbing on the sofa. Love at First Sight is on Netflix now.
