The Spice Girls' Emma Bunton has described her difficulties trying to conceive after being diagnosed with endometriosis. The singer and mother-of-two said that discovering she had the condition in her 20s led to fears around her health - as well as her own fertility. "That nearly broke me, I knew I had the right partner and that I wanted to be a mum," she told Stella magazine. "I didn’t give up hope; it just wasn’t happening." Endometriosis is a painful condition that causes womb lining tissue to grow in other places like the fallopian tubes or the ovaries. Affecting one in 10 women in Ireland, the condition can be extremely debilitating leading to chronic pain, bowel and bladder issues, and sometimes, infertility. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1a-W-KlsQW/ Bunton found out that she was expecting her first child while she was competing in the 2006 instalment of Strictly Come Dancing.  She said that she took a call from her doctor following one of her first performances asking if she was pregnant. She discovered that was actually expecting her first child, Beau Lee Jones, who was born in August 2007. Bunton gave birth to her second son, Tate Lee Jones, three years later. She and singer turned chef Jade Jones have been in an on-again-off-again relationship since 1999. They became engaged in 2016, but Bunton said that she doesn't think they will ever marry because she doesn't need to "justify" their relationship.
