Electric Picnic is coming back after two long years away from us and ahead of its big return, we have you sorted. Even if you've been before, there are a million and one questions flying through everyone's heads in the few days coming up to the festival. From who you'll get to see to when you can arrive, we are here to answer the burning questions and keep you up to speed on all you need to know. Who's playing? There are some really cool acts set to hit the various stages this weekend, and rather than have you scroll through all of them - we'll give you the headliners. Dermot Kennedy is playing the Friday night with Megan Thee Stallion on before, Tame Impala is headlining Saturday with Picture This ahead and to close on Sunday we'll see Arctic Monkeys play after Snow Patrol has taken the stage. For a full list of stage times and must see artists, you can check here or on the Electric Picnic app. When does it start and end? Anyone with early entry tickets can start arriving from today (Thursday) from 4pm to midnight, and for anyone with regular tickets, the campsites open at 9am on Friday and close at 1pm on Monday. There will be live entertainment on Thursday from 6pm to midnight and the main event kicks off at 2pm on Friday. What's the food like? There are more than 100 food stands in the arena and campsites, so you won't be stuck finding something you like. From pie and mash to tacos and pizza, they haven't missed a single thing. You can bring snacks into the campsites, but no food is allowed into the arena, with few exceptions. No matter what your diet is, vegan, veggie, or pescaterian, there is something for everyone. Are there showers? Yes, there are showers but you may have to pay extra to use them. What should I bring? Pack as light as you can, but there are some necessities you'll want to have with you. To check everything you need, we've got you covered here. How do I get there? Whether it's by bus, car, train or bike, there are a few different routes you need to be aware of and different allocated parking spots to watch out for. We have it all here. Can I still get a ticket? Yes and no. All tickets from the event organisers themselves are sold out but if you go through Instagram stories for long enough, you'll see a few people looking to sell theirs. How's the weather looking? I'll be honest with you, it's not great. Friday is set to start out cloudy with scattered heavy showers, but drier, brighter conditions are set to arrive in the middle of the country with temperatures of 17 to 22C. But once we're in our tents, the heavens are set to open. Saturday is going to be a cloudy start with rain in part of Ulster and Leinster throughout the day, but sunny spells are coming in from the south with temperatures from 14 to 18C. Again, on Saturday night the rain will be out in force as will the wind, so make sure your tent is really stuck into the ground. Sunday is set to see heavy rain that will gradually clear northwards with sunny spells to follow and temperatures of 15 to 20C. But those wet and blustery conditions won't stay away for too long as they'll be back on Sunday night. Is there an age limit? Yes, there is. The festival is for 18 and over and ID will be checked. Children are allowed to go but must be under the age of 12 and accompanied by a parent or guardian, and if they look like they could be hitting 13, they'll need ID. Anyone aged between 13 and 17 is not allowed to enter. What's camping like? Camping is not the most glamorous experience, but it definitely is a lot of craic. There are quite a few campsites, the Oscar Wilde campsite, the Charlie Chaplin campsite, the Janis Joplin campsite, the Samuel Beckett campsite, the Poets campsite, the Andy Warhol campsite, the Jimi Hendrix campsite. Then, of course, there are all the glamping, festihuts and campervan locations which are located separately. There are toilets located all over the place, but please remember to bring toilet roll, you'll need it by the end of Friday.
