With its phenomenal title track later becoming a Springsteen anthem, it really doesn't come as much of a surprise that 'Born in the U.S.A.' was his biggest-selling album of all time - what will shock many music fans however, is the fact that despite this piece of work producing hits such as 'I'm On Fire' and 'Dancing In The Dark', Springsteen failed to reach the top spot and throughout his incredible career has never had a number one hit. Ever.
Last year Bruce and The E Street Band finished up their epic World Tour here on the emerald isle and we put together 18 reasons to love the boss, this record is number 19.
Several of the biggest names in music have covered hits from the album over the last 30 years, but as far as we're concerned, many can try imitate but there's simply no beating the Boss.
It was a tough task trying to dwindle it down but we managed it, here are our three favourite tracks from the record.
