Easily one of the highlights of the Love Island calendar is when the islanders' friends and family enter the villa, and this gets particularly exciting if the contestants have famous connections. Needless to say, viewers are eagerly anticipating the arrival of US footballer Michael Owen, who may enter the villa if his daughter Gemma stays long enough. Having said that, nothing is confirmed. The islanders are usually joined by two guests, and they're not always their parents. Occasionally siblings join a parent, or two close friends enter the villa instead of family members. In any case, we have high hopes that Michael Owen will enter the villa and rock Luca's world (and maybe tell him to cool off on the jealousy, while he's at it). If he's up for entering the villa, things are looking good. After Gemma donned some riding gear and danced for her fellow participants, Michael summed up his feelings in a single emoji – an embarrassed, shocked face covering its eyes. While we never saw Gemma break the news about who her famous father is, it's understood that by day 2, the lads had all figured it out. Gemma isn't the only child of a famous person to compete on the show this year – Ronan Keating's son Jack also popped by for Casa Amor. While he didn't last long, he did get chatting with Gemma, and if things had gone any further, we definitely would have our heads spinning trying to picture Michael Owen and Ronan Keating meeting in the villa.
