Mariah Carey. It just wouldn't be Christmas without her.

All I Want For Christmas is coming up on its milestone quarter-century - and the 1994 classic hit remains very much part and parcel of the festive season. Now Mariah herself has announced that she's taking her Yuletide tour on the road, selecting two lucky locations for gigs in December.

Step forward Manchester and London; not quite on home-soil but oh-so close - close enough certainly to merit a cheeky flight to see Ms Carey in all her Christmas glory. The gigs - which take place on Sunday, December 10 (Manchester), and Monday, December 11 (London) - are also her only European dates. Tickets go on sale on September 8 and will be a sell-out. Mariah has played US Christmas gigs in the past - and they're always HUGE. Indeed, her Manchester and London shows will be the same as the ones she's playing in Las Vegas on four December dates also this year.
