The Jeremy Kyle Show is never short of controversy, but this latest stunt has us all cringing deeply for the woman involved.
Jordan and Aimee were on the show because Aimee had suspected him of cheating (aka every episode of Jeremy Kyle ever), so he would be undergoing a lie detector test.
He had informed Jeremy and the producers beforehand that he would be proposing to Aimee on camera, so after he passed the test he planned to whip the ring out of his pocket and propose to the poor woman in front of a studio audience.
We honestly can't think of anything worse in the world, who thinks that this is a romantic gesture?? What a nightmare.
However Aimee was overwhelmed and ran backstage, but not to worry. Jordan followed her and proposed on camera. She grudgingly accepted saying, "Hurry up and get it over with".
Kyle described it as 'the most unromantic thing ever', and we're inclined to agree
