It had banging tunes, hilarious jokes, hot bodies, endearing bromance and most importantly - sound lads. What else could you want from a film?
Who could forget this absolutely iconic scene?
I clearly remember watching Magic Mike and it's sensational sequel Magic Mike XXL and thinking 'if ONLY this was a real thing???'
Well, the telepathic bond that Channing Tatum I share (because we're absolutely deeply in love) is clearly real and he has answered my thoughts - maybe yours too.
Tatum has revealed that Magic Mike Live show is coming to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, with a launch promised in March 2017.
The show will bring to life the idea at the heart of the Magic Mike movies: male entertainers that are there to please the women.
Tatum confirmed to Cosmopolitan:
"We want to create a place for women that is their gentlemen's club, their Playboy club. It shouldn't be sleazy. [You shouldn't feel] nervous to go there because you feel unsafe; we want to create the polar opposite of that."
Channing will direct the show and Alison Faulk and Teresa Espinosa, who worked on both Magic Mike movies, will choreograph the routines.
I don't know about you but I'm currently saying the rosary that they bring the show to Dublin. *cries*
