"There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired – a lot of stuff going on."
After becoming the second islander to leave the Love Island villa this year, model Remi Lambert has shared an insight into what his time was like while on the show.
During an appearance on the YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi said that he rowed with Jacques O'Neill during the show, which "ruined" the experience from him.
Remi said: "There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired – a lot of stuff going on.
"So basically – me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s**t. It ruined it for me."
He continued: "People were saying, 'It’s because he’s got a rugby persona’ – but you can’t treat people like that."
Remi went on to say that Jacques would "constantly" mimic him in a "jarring" way.
He said that he was the "only one" who would stand up to Jacques.
Remi's comments about Jacques come amid concern from some fans over the islanders' treatment of Ekin-Su.
On Thursday night's episode, Ekin-Su got upset after Jay said he wants to get to know Paige better. While the actress gave him the go-ahead, she later revealed that she was hurt by his actions, and accused him of leading her on. After labelling his behaviour as "muggy", some of the other islanders got involved.
After her disagreement with Jay, Jacques told her: "He coupled up with you and found out what you are in two days mate, a f**king headache!"
Luca subsequently welcomed Jay into the "doghouse".
Some viewers jumped on Twitter to express concern for Ekin-Su.
One wrote: "Ekin Su is getting bullied in that villa and nothing is being done."
Another said: "People in that villa persistently bully and slutshame Ekin-Su, and the worst part is that the public passes this behaviour off as 'funny' and 'karma'."
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and on the Virgin Media Player.
