The islander decided to have some fun with his responses.

Brad McClelland has said that he was frustrated with some of the questions he has been asked since coming off this year's Love Island. During the reunion show which aired last week, host Laura Whitmore asked Brad how it felt to see Lucinda Stafford get together with Aaron Francis after he left the show. The islander then surprised viewers by giving them an answer many were not expecting. He told Laura that it actually turned him on. Since then, Brad explained why he gave that response. In an interview with OK! Magazine, he said: "The reason I answered the way I did is because every single interview I did upon leaving asked me, 'how did seeing Lucinda with Aaron make you feel?'" He continued: "I'm sick of answering that question, I'm sure the public are sick of hearing us answer that question, so I thought, 'do you know what? Screw this, I'll come up with a daft question." Brad added: "Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer." The Love Island reunion was not well-received on social media, and Whitmore has since responded to some of the backlash. On her Instagram stories, the presenter responded to a DM, which accused her of asking "invasive questions". Whitmore then said that the islanders see the questions before they go on air. She wrote: "I believe in choice, so nothing is ever asked without permission. "I only ask questions that are pre approved by the compliance division. "A lot of meetings happen before I see the script and then I can add my voice." Laura also addressed fans who asked why Kaz and Tyler were interviewed from their table, rather than the main couch. Addressing this, Laura said: "We invited Kaz to sit with Toby for his exes segment but she didn't want to and it's her choice to make. "Everything is run through with the islanders beforehand. It's all about choice."
