She told EW that she and Mark had discussed their relationship before the final episode, and even though that both didn't want to get married, they did have to film the final episode.
"I don’t know I’m allowed to answer that question," she said, before the Netflix rep gave her the OK.
"Okay. Yeah, I mean, I had to stay. I definitely had a conversation about leaving and I wasn’t able to do that. My dog got sick too, and almost died during the show, I had so much other stuff going on."
"I wanted to be 100 percent in it but I kind of went in and out of wanting to be 100 percent in it and knowing that I needed to deal with my dog.
"It was really frustrating because I kind of knew [Mark and I] weren’t going to get there. I definitely had some conversations and attempted to leave, but I wasn’t able to."
Contrary to popular belief, Jessica's dog wasn't sick because she was lapping up red wine during Jessica's conversation with her potential husband to be.
Rather, she had eaten a piece of a stick and needed to receive medical attention during filming.
She is, thankfully, doing well.Explore more on these topics:
