The two former presidents of Ireland spoke about Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Ryan Tubridy was joined by the former presidents to discuss the current situation in Ukraine. The pair won the nation over with their condemnation of the violent attack on the country and their opinions on Vladimir Putin. But I have contempt for that man and everything that he represents." In reference to his comments that Ireland was anti-Russian, she added: "I am sure that Putin would not be impressed that a small nation like Ireland, a nation that is traditionally neutral, is so against this invasion. "We have clarified that we are militarily but not politically neutral." Viewers took to Twitter to praise the women for voicing their opinions on air.
