Season 3 is on the way.
RTE has released rating figures that show 495,500 people tuned in to watch the season finale of Irish crime drama, Kin.
The third season of the show is reportedly "already being filmed" following the success of the previous two seasons.
According to the Mirror, a spokesperson for the national broadcaster said: "An average audience of almost half a million watched last night’s Kin season 2 finale on RTÉ One (inc RTÉ One+1), with 37% of the available audience.
"On RTÉ Player, KIN series 2 has a massive 1,600,000 streams to date. Season 1 boxset in 2023 currently has 331,000 streams.
"The final episode has garnered 25,500 so far. With current trends, we expect catch up viewing on TV and RTÉ Player to grow substantially across the week."
Viewers were shocked by Sunday's Kin episode and were left wondering what is next for the crime family.
In the finale the Kinsella clan feud came to a head with multiple deaths.
It also teed up a third season as Gardaí closed in on Amanda's money-laundering operations which is expected to be a major storyline in the next season.
"Don't do or sell drugs"
The last few weeks on Kin saw Bren, a vicious family patriarch, wreak havoc after being released from prison.
Played by Francis Magee, some viewers say he 'made the show' while others wished for his demise.
As for what may happen in season three, stars of the show Ciaran Hinds, Danielle Galligan and Clare Dunne teased new details at the IFTAs on Sunday.
Clare Dunne, who plays Amanda Kinsella, told Extra.ie that they haven't started working on season three but she "'hopes you come back for more".
Danielle Galligan, who portrays Michael Kinsella's potential love interest, Molly, warned fans telling viewers: "Don't do or deal drugs kids.
"I know it looks hot and fun and sexy but that's just us, it's not the drugs."
RTE also revealed an average of 379,000 people tuned into The Late Late Show on Friday night while Angela Scanlon’s 'Ask Me Anything' garnering an average of 216,000 viewers.
That was a drop-off of 15,00 compared to the previous Saturday night.
A spokesman for RTE said: "Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything on May 6th had an average audience of 216,000 Live + Vosdal (RTÉ One and RTÉ One+1) 23% audience share.
"Friday night’s Late Late Show was watched by an average audience of 379,000 on RTÉ One (incl. RTÉ One+1). It was watched by 40% of the available audience."
