Ever since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her apartment in Paris we've heard next to nothing from the Kardashian clan on the matter. There have been a few social media posts from them showing support for the reality star but no one has given an update or issued a statement.
Now, though, Kim's younger sister Khloe has officially spoken about the ordeal and how it has impacted the family. She joined Ellen on her show and when asked about how Kim is doing she said:
"She's not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together.
“We do appreciate all your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It’s horrible what happened to her.”
Ellen asked about the silence on social media from everyone, with Khloe saying, "I think it's just a wake up call. A lot of life adjustments but this is a really serious matter and for Kim I think that's really personal, that emotional terror, you (who) could move on from that. So for us it's all a wake up call but definitely to make sure our sister is okay."
Ellen then said, "And to now share as much, maybe things have changed a lot?" to which Khloe responded, "Ya, I think in that aspect, just to make sure that we're protected as well as possible. Like I said, we're a family, we'll do this together. I think it's maybe important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit. It's always smart."
