The artist has left many furious after his interview yesterday.

Ever since returning to Twitter just a few weeks ago, Kanye West has been the subject of much discussion. However, an interview Appearing in the TMZ newsroom, Kanye spoke about the controversy over the pictures of him wearing a Make America Great Again hat and why he's been sharing love for Donald Trump online as of late. Yes, the rapper has been sharing his support for President Trump on his social media platforms and while that had already caused concern for many fans and friends alike, his comments during his interview yesterday pushed people too far.

Discussing the idea of free thought, Kanye spoke about how we are all “taught how to think and feel” and said he felt a freedom by doing something people don’t want you to do. “I just love Trump – that’s my boy!” However, it was his next remark that left many viewers upset. “When you hear about slavery for 400 years… for 400 years? That sounds like a choice. “You were there for 400 years and it was all of y’all?” The comments caused a disagreement in the TMZ office, with one member of the news team confronting Kanye on what he said.

TMZ's Van Lathan's comments were echoed by many on Twitter, as Kanye's comments seem to have pushed people too far.
