Jacques has left the Love Island villa. According to a statement from producers, Jacques left the villa earlier today. A spokesperson confirmed his departure saying: “Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa. He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode. He was highly criticised online for his actions during Casa Amor. In recent episodes he tried to win back Paige by leaving her a note in her bed and reading her a speech from his phone. He is the second of this year's contestants to exit the villa without being dumped. Following criticism from the public during the girls' stint in Casa Amor, Jacques friends and family shared that he was living with ADHD. His sister, who is currently running his Instagram account, said:  "Jacques was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 9 years old. "By no means is this a get out clause for his actions but it is to show that he can fundamentally struggle with his emotions at times. "He is an amazing person who I'm proud to call my friend/little brother. "All the hate thrown towards Jacques doesn't go to him directly ... It comes to his loved ones who have always supported him and not just whilst he is on Love Island. "Love Island, although real. Is still a show where the producers do have control and we see 45 minutes out of the 1440 in 24hours." Jacques departure from the villa, and his reasons for doing so, will be shared in tonight's episode of Love Island. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
