As if the first Orphan wasn't scary enough, she's back for more.

Isabelle Fuhrman is gearing up to reprise her role as terrifying orphan Esther in the prequel to the iconic horror flick, Orphan. It's been eleven years since the movie first landed on the big screen. The story followed a Russian woman who has a rare form of dwarfism and pretended to be a child, but she turned out to be a grown woman - and did I mention she was also pure evil? In the film, her adoptive parents believe the girl is in fact a nine-year-old, but (spoilers) she turns out to be an adult woman posing as a child to get in with the family. Dark Castle Entertainment have decided that one movie featuring the terrifying orphan just wasn't enough and they are reportedly filming another picture which will tell the story of what happened before the events of the first. Fans of the original can breathe a sigh of relief (or terror) as Isabelle Fuhrman has signed on to play Esther once again. The role will see her take on the character who is supposed to be around eleven in the new film. Fuhrman was just 12-years-old when she filmed the last movie, so it will be interesting to see how she plays a child now that she's all grown up. But hey, she played an adult when she was a child, so we're sure she's able for it. The film has reportedly already started filming in Winnipeg, Canada. The Boy director William Brent Bell will take the helm, and David Coggeshall is reportedly handling the screenplay. Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard starred in the original flick, which had a pretty definite ending, so it's unlikely that they will be returning this time round. Get ready for another scare courtesy of an adult orphan very soon!
