This brilliant Christmas advert has everyone in floods

It doesn't take a lot to make me cry, but one Christmas advert turned me into a blubbering mess over the weekend.

And no, it wasn't by a giant supermarket, but instead, a local Irish pub.

The moving advert was filmed by Charlie's pub in Enniskillen and it's pretty perfect.

The video sees an old man leave his house on his own. He then visits a graveyard and lays some flowers down before walking through his hometown.

Nobody acknowledged him during his stroll through the town, which was where the tears started for me.

People pass him by and fail to notice him, which is just heartbreaking.

He arrives at Charlie's pub and sits alone with his pint of Guinness until a couple's dog jumps over to him.

The couple notices the man petting their dog and asks if they can join him.

The emotional video ends with the W.B Yeats quote: "There are no strangers here, only friends you haven’t yet met."

The pub confirmed that they will be open on Christmas Day this year for anyone who is feeling alone.

They have encouraged customers to come in if they feel like having a chat.

Alongside the video, they wrote: "Christmas can be such a joyful time for some and painfully hard for others. One things for sure - you’ll always receive a warm welcome when you walk through our doors.

"We will be open on Christmas Day, so if you are alone this festive season, drop in for a chat," they added.

The video has been viewed over 1.4 million times.

It's better than any John Lewis advert we've ever seen.
