Huge congratulations are in order.

Ireland AM presenter Ger Treacy has given birth to a baby girl with fellow Virgin Media sports reporter and husband Bernard O'Toole. The presenter headed to Instagram to share her happy news, telling her followers of the arrival of her new baby girl on Sunday evening. "Meet our gorgeous girl Kitty O'Toole," she wrote. "Named after my amazing Nanny Kitty Connolly, she arrived 3 weeks early, weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces. Daddy Bernard O'Toole and I are madly in love with our little Kitty." It wasn't long before friends, followers and Virgin Media colleagues all rushed into the comments to congratulate the new mum, sending her and Bernard their best wishes. Virgin Media star Muireann O'Connell wrote: "OMG!!!! Congratulations to you both. Ger, she’s a dote! I love the name!" Laura Woods added: "Welcome beautiful Kitty. Can’t wait for a cuddle x" Reporter Zara King then said: "Guys. Congratulations! She’s just gorgeous! Welcome, Baby Kitty. xxx" Ger revealed that she was expecting back in July, announcing that her baby would be a "Christmas surprise." Speaking to RSVP Live, Ger said at the time: "We are both absolutely over the moon, we’re so extremely grateful and feel so lucky to be expecting. We’re really on cloud nine and both so excited. "We haven’t found out the sex of the baby, we’re going to leave it as a Christmas surprise. "There are few surprises in life and as long as the baby is healthy and safe that’s all that matters." Opening up about her morning sickness in the early days of the pregnancy, it seemed to have cleared up by July and the broadcaster felt great once that had passed. Ger and her husband Bernard met while working at FM104 together and ended up getting married in Joseph’s Church, Ballyadams, Co. Laois back in July 2016.
