Hogwarts opens its doors on November 14th in London and this year is set to be the best yet. Never before have they covered the Harry Potter streets in snow and given the whole town a festive makeover.
During filming the famous movies there were several occasions when they needed to use fake snow. But they have never covered the streets of Diagon Alley in it.
For this incredible experience, WB Studios plan on using mixed types of fake snow from powdery to the kind that crunches under your feet. The producers behind the tour also plan on adding some of the magical white stuff to the model of Hogwarts Castle.
Aside from the snow, guests will be greeted with festive wreaths and lights and everything you can imagine in a Harry Potter Christmas fairytale.
There are also some special touches including Christmas cards written by the cast which will be hanging in the Boys’ Dormitory.
And for all you special effects fans, the fireplaces will be lit with a one of a kind social effects fire which has been created especially for the tour using a combination of water vapour and lighting effects.
You can find out more about the tour and get tickets here. Hopefully we'll be able to go when the time comes, and if not, there's always next year!
