And it seems that not even Hollywood stars are immune from the trials and tribulations of trying to find love as we discovered when we interviewed actress Lake Bell.
The hilarious New Yorker, known for her roles in Boston Legal and In A World, is currently starring opposite Simon Pegg in brilliant romantic comedy Man Up, in which she plays unlucky in love Nancy who meets the man of her dreams after stealing someone else's date.
The movie is in cinemas now and we absolutely loved it so when we heard that Bell was in London recently, we couldn't turn down the chance to have a gossip with her.
As well as mastering the British accent and the curse of 'mean-spirited' romance movies, Lake spilled the beans on her worst ever date... and trust us, it makes ours look like a scene from The Notebook!
