HBO Max has fixed its Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts and reuploaded it to the platform after a few fans spotted a number of major mistakes in the original airing of the special. The show was only up a matter of hours on New Year's Day when fans on social media spotted that a picture of Emma Roberts was used on screen when Emma Watson was reminiscing on the franchise. In fairness, even those of us that aren't big into this film series knows that it was Watson that played Hermoine, not Roberts. Fans already did their research, scrolling back on Roberts' Instagram feed to find where she had originally posted the throwback snap, with the producers of the special then publically acknowledging their mistake. https://twitter.com/vee_delmonico99/status/1477258123228368896 "Well spotted Harry Potter fans!" they said in a statement. "You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version is up now." A second mistake was then reported by Oliver Phelps who played one of the Weasley twins, George, in the original film, claiming Return to Hogwarts had mislabeled him and his brother James when they were shown on screen and gotten them mixed up. His twin brother James also appeared in the films as Fred Weasley. "I guess after all those pranks over the years somebody decided to get their revenge," Oliver Phelps joked on Instagram. "It was fantastic to be part of the HP reunion. Hope you all enjoyed it." While HBO is yet to address this mistake, Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy commented on the snap, joking: "It was my doing." And Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom wrote: "This is legit hilarious. Dude. Wtf? Haha." A new and improved version of Return to Hogwarts with a picture of Emma Watson and the correct names for the brothers is now available to view.
