Sally Wainwright's brilliant series Happy Valley has returned to our screens for a new series, bringing with it a host of new stars. One cast member who is winning praise for her portrayal is Mollie Winnard, who plays Joanna on the show. However, Winnard has shared that past comments on her TV jobs haven't always been kind. In fact, when she appeared on the long-running soap opera Coronation Street, she says she was met with cruel comments about her appearance. "That stuck in my brain a bit but then I forgot about it because the vast majority of people are positive." Winnard previously shared her excitement to be a cast member on Happy Valley with an Instagram post late last year. Sharing the trailer, she wrote: "If you haven’t already guessed from the millions of times I’ve posted about it on my story, I’m rather buzzed about this one! "The show has been one of my favourites for years and filming it was a dream come true.
