Now that it’s December it’s officially OK to talk about Christmas at every available opportunity and what better place to start than to look forward to all the time we’re going to spend in front of the telly over the festive season.
RTÉ announced their line-up for the festive season and while it’s a busy one, we decided to skip ahead to catch a glimpse of the movies that will keep us entertained and help break those awkward family silences for a few days.
Most of these are movies you will have seen before, of course, but as everyone knows, when one of your favourite movies appears on terrestrial TV, there’s almost a requirement that you must watch it, even though you can do so anytime you want on DVD, Netflix or the Internet.
