The cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunited for a special lunch at the weekend. Will Smith was joined by the Banks family, including Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian) and Joseph Marcell (butler Geoffrey).
But there was one person majorly missed from the occasion, James Avery, who played Uncle Phil in the TV show. James passed away in 2014 after complications during heart surgery.
Alfonso shared a picture of the group and paid tribute to James saying:
"Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete."
Before we get our hopes up, there won't be any actual reunion or reboot of the TV show. Will Smith recently said that he wouldn't revisit the role that made him famous, even suggesting that it would only happen when hell froze over.
We recently spoke to him and got him to read out the lyrics to the Fresh Prince in Irish.
