Forever Young Festival has been forced to stop all Saturday ticket holders from attending the festival due to poor weather.
Festival organisers have also informed those with weekend tickets that they cannot access the festival today.
Organisers issued a statement on Facebook today:
"We are so sorry to announce that due to the extreme unseasonal weather conditions, the safety team at Forever Young Festival needs to postpone ALL day visitors to the festival until tomorrow, weather permitting."
Organisers are "heartbroken" but need to prioritise people's safety.
"Saturday ticket holders and weekend no camping ticket holders sadly can not be admitted to the site."
Those on-site can still watch acts at the festival, but they will be performing to a reduced audience.
"Anyone on site is at present unaffected and we intend to run the show to a reduced audience."
Festival-goers have been left devastated by the news, but understand the site is not safe.
One festival-goer said the conditions are "horrendous".
"Completely understand it’s horrendous conditions here people and it’s not Forever Young Festival fault. The weather has destroyed the place. It’s sad to see but I must say very well done to the team for doing their very best for all of us on-site."
Another added, "Very grateful to the great team at Forever Young Festival who rescued us last night and got us to the car park. We wouldn’t have made it out without their help, the surface had deteriorated so much from the time we went in."
Forever Young Festival is held at Palmerstown House Estate in Kildare.
