In terms of ungentlemanly things to reveal about an ex, describing the smell of her private parts on national TV is a humdinger.
When Paddy, a 42-year-old graphic designer, was paired up with 37-year-old Heather for Channel 4's
First Dates, you thought you'd get the usual amount of simmering sexual tension and awkward dad jokes.
What nobody expected was the crass ~joke~ that caused this reaction...

When Heather told Paddy she didn't eat meat or fish, Paddy decided to share a special comment/random outburst/horror story of his own with her:
"Years and years ago, I was dating this girl — well, not dating, I was 'seeing' this girl — and she was quite... domineering and I found it a bit scary. I won’t go into all the details. But… it stank. And you don’t like fish."
Then the nation watched as Heather's face contorted in sheer revulsion - before pretending like nothing happened in the most British way possible.
In the review segment at the end of the show, Paddy told Heather he liked her and that she was "nice", but that she needed "to loosen up a bit, I think."

Of course, Twitter reacted with the usual mix of 50 per cent confusion and 50 per cent disgust...

Suffice to say, there won't be a second date. Lesson learned, eh Paddy?
