The latest trailer sees the Crawley family and the staff of Downton prepping for a journey overseas with Mr. Carson saying: "The British are coming."
And a wedding is expected to play a part in this new film, so this could be the reason for the trip abroad.
Jim Carter, Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Charmichael are all set to return for the sequel film.

Downton Abbey was a hit ITV series that captured a massive audience from 2010 to 2015, so much so they released a feature film in 2019 which went down a treat with fans.
Set in 1927, the first film was released with resounding acclaim and showed us the Crawleys attempts to prepare for a visit from King George V and Queen Mary.
Fans argued at the time that the film actually brought up more questions than it answered, leaving the door wide open for a second movie.
While there is no specific release date as of yet, the film has been pushed back over the last few months, initially expected to land in December of this year.
