To be fair, we'd enjoy watching nearly anything he's in but this particular Leonardo Di Caprio thriller is a cut above.
We think Leo is at his best when he's a little bit tortured, which is why we're such big fans of Shutter Island.
In it, he plays Teddy Daniels, a US Marshall who's sent to investigate the disappearance of a patient at a hospital for the criminally insane on Shutter Island in Boston Harbour in the 1950s.
As you might expect, all is not as it seems.
The hospital and its staff are sketchy and it's not long before it all gets to Teddy.
A World War Two veteran, he begins to experience flashbacks of the war and some disturbing visions about his wife who died in a fire.
It goes on like this, with enough intrigue to draw you in and keep you invested.
The film boasts a serious supporting cast, including Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley and Michelle Williams.
No spoilers, obviously, but the twist at the end of the film is reason enough to watch the whole thing.
If you've watched it before, you'll see clues building up the this reveal throughout the film so it's worth your time again.
Shutter Island is on Channel 4 at 11.05pm.
