Another episode of First Dates Ireland is in the review mirror and once again, the levels of awkwardness and cringe has made us want to have a lie down.
While there were some success stories on the show this week, there were a few let downs as well as the romance failed to ignite and people left alone.
Brian Óg from Limerick was making his second appearance on the show, after his date was a no-show on a previous episode and he was on a date with Aimee from Carlow.
Brian had an ace of an opening under his sleeve to help break the ice.
He had a bag of flour and produced it to Aimee along with the line, "I got you a 'flour'".
Yes, this really happened... but we credit him for his willingness to think outside the box and give it ago.
For every person who hated it, there were ten more who found it hilarious.
