The news came as a huge shock to the E! News host who is currently caring for her mother who is herself suffering with stage 4 brain cancer.
“It’s so surreal and crazy and unbelievable that my mom has a brain tumour – and now I have one too,” she told People.Last month, Maria says she underwent a seven-hour surgery that removed 99 percent of the tumour, however says that there is still a chance it could come back.
“My face is still numb. This is something that takes at least a month of healing, but I’m getting stronger and stronger everyday and I’ll be back to normal very soon.”
