Coronation Street fans were fairly shocked by the death that occurred on last night's episode of the show. And they were more surprised that the death happened off-screen too. Receptionist Katy Armstrong was killed off in a car accident in Portugal. Her character was then written out of the show before she headed off to live in Portugal with her mum.
