It has quickly become one of the most-talked-about series since it debuted in the US a few weeks ago.
Academy-Award nominated directors Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick have tackled some very controversial topics in the past with their previous documentaries, including The Invisible War (the epidemic of rape of soldiers within the US military), The Hunting Ground (the lengths that educational institutions will go to cover up crimes on their campuses), and Twist of Faith (sexual abuse within the Catholic church).
Their trend for tackling hot-topic issues continues with Allen v. Farrow, their new four-part documentary series which aired on HBO across four weeks and has now been made available to watch in its entirety in Ireland as of today (Monday, 15 March).
The official synopsis of the docu-series is as follows: A look behind the years of sensational headlines to reveal the private story of the accusation of sexual abuse against Woody Allen involving his 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow.
