Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight won't be screened in one of Dublin's busiest cinemas, Cineworld.
The movie, which is due for release this Friday, won't be shown there as a result of the distribution company, Entertainment Films, failing to agree on terms with the cinema.
According to The Irish Times, Entertainment Films released this statement,
“Cineworld had every opportunity to book the film in their other cinemas across the country on the same basis as other exhibitors and declined to do so. This is despite the fact that there is no dispute over the financial terms for this release.”
All hope of seeing the movie in Dublin is not lost though as IMC cinemas will screen it nationwide from Friday. They shared the news on Twitter.
IMC are delighted to announce the Hateful Eight will be playing in 13 IMC Cinemas throughout the island of Ireland from this Friday!!
