We've all heard the song.
But who can actually claim that they fully understand the lyrics to the Backstreet Boys'
I Want It That Way?
Like, we know that whoever the Backstreet Boys are singing about is their "fire" and "one desire".
It all starts to get a bit confusing when they start singing about wanting "it that way", an they don't actually say what "it" is.
Especially the end, where they sing: "I never wanna hear you say / I want it that way / 'Cause I want it that way."
So now whatever "it" is, they don't want the girl to want it that way since
they want it that way? Anyone else confused?

Anyways, Chrissy Teigen has thankfully gotten the Backstreet Boys to settle the issue once and for all.
It all began when the model tweeted:
"'I never wanna hear you say, ‘I want it that way’ cause I want it that way.'
"He doesn’t wanna hear it because he is the one that wants it that way? He wants to be the one to say it? Also what is 'it'?"
The Backstreet Boys were quick to respond, giving an explanation that cleared things up for many fans.

The boyband's official Twitter account replied:
"Don’t wanna hear you say that you want heartaches and mistakes... or to be 2 worlds apart. We don’t want you to want 'it' that way - that’s the way we want it... for you to not want it that way."
Fans began to thank Chrissy for bringing the whole situation up.
