Netflix is about to add a brilliant Irish movie.
The critically acclaimed comedy-drama, Handsome Devil, which is directed by John Butler, will available on Netflix from July 20th.
Handsome Devil stars Andrew Scott, Fionn O’Shea, Nicholas Galitzine, Moe Dunford, Amy Huberman, Michael McElhatton, Ardal O’Hanlon and Hugh O’Connor.
It centres around Ned (Fionn), a bullied outsider, and Conor (Nicholas), a new boy and star athlete, who are forced to room together at their boarding school. Conor is drafted into the senior rugby team, whose actions dominate school life and whose privilege and entitlement have made Ned’s s life to date at the school a misery.
The boys take an instant dislike to each other, and Ned and Conor seem destined to remain enemies until an English teacher Mr. Sherry (Andrew) steps in to drill into them the value of finding one’s own voice.
