Say it ain't so!
When life is busy there's nothing better than having a day off and binge watching all of your favourite TV shows. It's one of the most relaxing times and is super handy if you've totally missed out on something that has been recently added.
Well, that could soon be a thing of the past as Netflix has started implementing changes to shows that are usually released all in one go.
While it's normal for some shows to be released on a weekly basis, the streaming site has most recently changed
The Great British Baking Show in the US (the
Bake Off to us in Ireland and the UK) to coming out weekly.
According to
Pretty52, it's also going to land series' in chunk instalments. For example, when Cardi B and T.I's new rap competition
Rhythm & Flow is released in October, it will initially air four episodes. Then episodes 5-7 will drop, and then 8-10 in will land on a different date.
It comes as Disney+ announced that it's going to stream shows on a weekly basis as it will keep the hype going for months at a time rather than the excitement only lasting a week or two.
Would you prefer this? Or would you like things to stay the way they are?
