The broadcast is the penultimate in the series and ITV has said it will allow pre-recorded material to be included. "Show bosses had been weighing up whether to scrap the big budget series called Saturday Knight Takeaway altogether," reports Sun.co.uk. It has allegedly been acknowledged by the station that the move could spark considerable backlash from fans. An insider explained to The Sun’s Bizarre column: "After a lot of soul searching it was decided that the final two episodes should run because viewers have loved the series and want to find out the conclusion in the final two episodes." A final decision on who will line-up alongside Dec Donnelly in Florida for the final show on April 7 is expected by Tuesday.
