Well folks, that’s it.

The Bake Off as we know and love it is over. With this season’s finale comes the sad end of the GBBO and BBC partnership. Ne’er again will Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, Mel and Sue grace our screens in the big white tent. It’s been an emotional evening.

Tears were shed.
