With our nights now filled with parties, dinners and visiting relatives, spending our days off on the couch is a much-needed chance to recharge. Yes, if we're not out Christmas shopping on our weekend, we're spending our time at home and what better way to keep us entertained that with a new TV show to binge. While Christmas movies might feel like the natural form of entertainment this time of year, it's easy to grow tired of festive films. Well, if that's the case, Netflix is never short of a few new releases and right, now there is plenty to choose from. Here are five new TV shows worth binging on this weekend.  

1. The Punisher

Plot: A former Marine out to punish the criminals responsible for his family’s murder finds himself ensnared in a military conspiracy.  

2. Glitch

Plot: A police officer and a doctor face an emotionally charged mystery when seven local residents inexplicably return from the dead in peak physical form.  

3. Dark

Plot: A missing child sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers as they unearth a mind-bending mystery that spans three generations.  

4. She's Gotta Have It

Plot: Nola Darling struggles to stay true to herself and her dreams while juggling three lovers in this Spike Lee series based on his breakout film.  

5. Godless

Plot: A ruthless outlaw terrorises the West in search of a former member of his gang, who’s found a new life in a quiet town populated only by women.
