5 movies on Netflix that are definitely worth spending an evening watching

If like us, you spend as much time on Netflix as you do breathing, then chances are you've worked your way through most of the movies you want to see. Well, we've been digging and found some seriously heavy-hitters on the site and our must-watch list is looking reinvigorated. From some amazing comedies to movies that have earned 'legendary' status, there is plenty to chose from. Here are five we think you should consider.  

1. Prisoners

Plot: When Keller Dover's daughter and her friend go missing, he takes matters into his own hands as the police pursue multiple leads and the pressure mounts.  

2. The Other Guys

Plot: Two mismatched New York City detectives seize an opportunity to step up like the city's top cops, whom they idolize, only things don't quite go as planned.  

3. Labyrinth

Plot: A 16-year-old girl is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King.  

4. Whiplash

Plot: A promising young drummer enrolls at a cut-throat music conservatory where his dreams of greatness are mentored by an instructor who will stop at nothing to realize a student's potential.  

5. Kramer vs. Kramer

Plot: Ted Kramer's wife leaves her husband, allowing for a lost bond to be rediscovered between Ted and his son, Billy. But a heated custody battle ensues over the divorced couple's son, deepening the wounds left by the separation.
