Sunday evenings are both the best and worst time of the week.
We all have our routines that we have to get done before heading back to work or college tomorrow. Whether it's meal prepping, a shower, a load of washing or a nice face-mask, we all have our Sunday evening rituals, both good and bad.
However, there is one Sunday evening ritual we enjoy most - sitting down with a cup of tea and enjoying a good movie.
Yes, tonight's the night to enjoy a decent flick in front of the fire, but with so many things to choose from, you can spend the majority of the night searching for the right one.
Well, we've done some of the hard work for you and had a look at both the TV guide and Netflix's new-in list and found some super movies to consider.
Here are five great films to choose from.
1. Life of Pi - 8pm, E4.
Plot: A writer interviews a man about the extraordinary events of his life. He describes his childhood in India, living in the zoo run by his father, and how the family and their animals were forced to relocate to Canada when he was a teenager. However, during the sea voyage, the ship sank and he was left adrift in a small boat with a ferocious tiger.
2. The Internship - 9pm, Comedy Central.
Plot: Two old-fashioned salesmen find their careers derailed by changes in technology. They nevertheless manage to get internships at an internet company but face a battle to come to terms with modern business methods, while competing against younger rivals.
3. The Magdalene Sisters - 9pm, TV3.
Plot: Four young women are sent to a Catholic institution. Two have been rejected by their families for getting pregnant, one has been raped by her cousin, and the other has been thrown out of an orphanage. Made to feel acute shame and disgrace, the girls are put to work in slave labour conditions and endure mental and physical cruelty at the hands of the nuns in charge.
4. The Jane Austen Book Club - Netflix
Plot: Six book club members find their lives resemble a modern-day version of Jane Austen’s novels in this drama.
5. Spotlight - Netflix
Plot: It was a massive church scandal that would take the most fearless, dedicated reporters to expose. This is their story.
