Una Healy and her daughter are starting a new chapter
Una Healy celebrated quite the milestone moment this week as her eldest child, Aoife Belle, started secondary school.
The proud mum shared the news with her followers on Instagram this morning.
Alongside a sweet photo of her daughter in her new uniform, Una wrote: "First day of secondary school! Wishing the best of luck to everyone starting today—here’s to new beginnings, new friends, and making memories!"
Aoife is one of thousands of pupils starting secondary school across Ireland this week.
Many fellow parents commented on Una's post and wished Aoife well on her new chapter.
One wrote, "Mini you. Best of luck Aoife i hope she enjoys every minute of it."
Another said, "Good luck, Aoife Belle!! Exciting new chapter in big school."
Una shares her 13-year-old daughter with her ex-husband Ben Foden.
The former couple also has a ten-year-old son named Tadhg.
Foden and Healy ended their marriage in 2018, but agreed to co-parent their children following the end of their relationship.
Ben Foden was living in America with his new wife and their two daughters, but the family has since moved back to England.
Una previously said Ben’s move “would be better for everyone.”
“I get on with Ben as best I can for the sake of the children. I want them to love him and for him to be there as much as he can for them. It’s unfortunate that he lives so far away.”
“We don’t have the ‘every other weekend’ set-up. He sees them at Christmas and in the summer. But Ben’s considering moving back to the UK and I really hope he does. It would be better for everyone,” she said.
