Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas confirmed their divorce this month.
Sophie Turner is reportedly suing Joe Jonas over the "wrongful retention of their two daughters".
The singer is reportedly refusing to let their daughters return home to England.
According to
TMZ, Sophie filed paperwork today for "the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained".
In paperwork obtained by
The Messenger, the
Game of Thrones actress revealed that she and Jonas had agreed that their children would be raised in England.
Just before their split, they had agreed that England would be their daughter's home rather than Miami.
They even put their Miami home up for sale and were looking at schools for their eldest daughter in England.

The actress and singer agreed that the children would remain with Joe throughout the Jonas Brothers' American tour because she was filming.
TMZ reports that Turner was filming a "very intense, time-consuming movie" at this time and would return to New York after filming ended.
When she returned to New York, they agreed that the children would go back to England with their mother.
However, Joe Jonas reportedly "refused to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother".
Jonas and Turner confirmed they were divorcing after four years together earlier this month.
In a joint statement, the couple said they "mutually" decided to divorce.
"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision.
"We sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
