The pair were most recently spotted out in Los Angeles on Monday morning.
Shawn Mendes and Carpenter were photographed on a walk, but neither has responded to the rumours.
DeuxMoi revealed the singers were involved earlier this month.
A source said the pair looked 'very comfortable' during a date at Horses in Los Angeles this month.
Mendes and singer Camila Cabello dated for two and a half years.

The pair started dating in 2019, but called it quits in November 2021. They were living in Miami together and even adopted a dog.
However, they decided to go their separate ways just before 2022.
Speaking about their split, Mendes said they'll always be friends.
The former couple issued a joint statement following their break-up;
"Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship.
"But our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.
"We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends."
Singer Sabrina Carpenter has been linked to Disney star Joshua Bassett in the past.
