S Club have recalled the moment they found out that their bandmate Paul Cattermole had tragically passed away.

The star sadly passed away on April 6 at the age of 46. His cause of death was ruled as "natural causes", with a spokesperson for Dorset Coroner’s Office saying: “We confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded. As his death was from natural causes, there will be no inquest.” Paul’s official death certificate was later released, which revealed that the singer’s sadly died from “multiple heart issues”. The Express stated he died from a "cardiac arrhythmia, acute myocardial ischaemia and severe coronary artery atheroma and intraplaque haemorrhage”. Speaking in their first interview since his death, S Club opened up about the moment they found out he died. Jo O'Meara told The Sun: "Our management called. Me and Jon were the first to hear. It was about half past nine on the Thursday night.” “I think I just went completely silent at first. It was awful.” Jon Lee added: “It was like someone had punched me in the stomach.” Tina Barrett said she was at home with her son watching TV when she got the call. She recalled thinking that it was a mistake. S Club released their first single in 20 years as a tribute to their late bandmate Paul Cattermole. His bandmates are sharing a tribute to him in the form of their single These Are The Days. The song will be released this week and the video will feature Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee and Tina Barrett all looking back on photos and clips with Paul. A source told The Sun: “It didn’t look like S Club were ever going to make music again but Paul’s tragic passing has brought them closer than ever. They have bonded in their grief. “It is about looking back at what an amazing man Paul was and the video was extremely emotional for them all. “It celebrates his life and the amazing career S Club have had.”
