If you haven't heard the news that Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have gotten engaged, you may be living under a rock.
The couple revealed their big news on Sunday evening, sharing a beautiful video of the moment Tommy popped the question.
Since that magical moment, Molly has shared a closer look at her engagement ring, and it appears to be a stunning 5 carat oval diamond.
While many assumed it's a real rock (considering she is the most famous
Love Island contestant of all time), others are doubtful.
If the diamond is real, experts have estimated that it could be worth around £400k (€460k).
But according to Laura Suttie, a gemologist and design expert at Queensmith, the ring could be lab-grown.
She said: "If Molly Mae’s diamond is a natural diamond – it is an incredibly rare find. Five carats is a considerable weight for a diamond – even those who work in the world of diamonds may only come across a handful of truly exceptional 5 carat diamonds every few years.
"Currently, the largest diamond sizes are typically found in the USA, suggesting that if Tommy opted for a natural diamond, he likely acquired it in the US.
"However, given the rarity of this type of diamond with such characteristics, like size and high quality, there is a high chance that this particular diamond is lab-grown rather than naturally sourced. A 5 carat lab-grown ring in the UK is currently worth around £20-40K."
Lab-grown diamonds have become hugely popular in recent years as customers are opting for a more affordable and sustainable alternative to real diamonds.
