Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson were victims of a burglary on Thursday night.

It is reported that thieves targeted the house while Megan was out for the night with her mother and Wes was rehearsing for Dancing On Ice. The pair only moved into the London house last October and felt heartbroken having returned to find their apartment ransacked and their two Mercedes cars robbed from the drive. A source spoke to The Sun saying: "The entire flat was completely ransacked by thieves. They clearly knew exactly what they were looking for because they cleared them out of a huge amount of jewellery and electrical items. "Megan and Wes are obviously inconsolable because a lot of their personal items also got taken in the robbery. The flat was left in utter carnage." Since the break-in, Megan took to her Instagram to reveal that her animals are going to live with her mom while they clean up and fix their apartment. Megan and Wes are known for using social media to give followers a sneak peek into their lives and home, however, not everyone believes it's a good idea with the same insider revealing that burglars more than likely targeted them due to the snaps. "Wes and Megan really regret putting up pictures of the inside of their home, because the robbers could have been watching." It is believed that the pair has authorities investigating the incident.
