Love Island's Lucinda Strafford has had a rollercoaster of romances, including her on and off relationship with Irish footballer Aaron Connolly After finding love in the villa with Aaron Francis and seeming to hit it off with Brad McClelland, Lucinda has confirmed all is back on Aaron. Sharing the news on Instagram, the pair had been spotted recently looking very cosy and fans were beginning to speculate. To put the rumours to rest, the 21 year revealed all about her latest fling to OK! Magazine, saying it is only early days and she is "taking it step by step" with her ex turned new boyfriend. "We’re seeing where things go, we’re not back together as such but we’re taking it step by step." Also saying that she and her Love Island beau Aaron decided to stay friends, Lucinda says that things began "fizzling out" when it came to her and Brad on the outside. She added: "I feel like maybe there was a reason it didn’t work in the villa so it wasn’t going to work outside." Now single, her ex wasted no time to reignite the romance, with Lucinda saying: "Then, obviously, I was single and he sort of reached out and then the rest is sort of history." Keeping her options open, Lucinda isn't interested in talking to anyone else at the moment and she even hinted that her time in the villa only made her miss him more. Fans were convinced Lucinda was still with Aaron during her time in the villa, with sources claiming she had "rekindled their romance" before she headed onto the show, with Aaron also looking after her dog while she was there. Denying this, Lucinda insisted she was "completely and utterly single." Aaron is originally from Galway and plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as the Republic of Ireland national team.
