"I'm holding on by a thread"

Kim Kardashian has opened up about co-parenting with Kanye West, admitting that it has been extremely hard for her. The mum-of-four spoke out about her relationship with West and their children on the IRL Podcast. She told Angie Martinez that she will always protect Kanye for the sake of their four children. The former couple share four children- North (9), Saint (7), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3). Following their divorce, Kim and Kanye agreed to co-parent their children, but the mum said it hasn't been easy. She shared; "It’s hard. Co-parenting is really f*****g hard." Kim said she does her best to stay strong for her children because she doesn't want them to see her cry. "I could be going through something but if we’re riding to school and they want to listen to their dad’s music, no matter what is going on in the world, I have to have that smile on my face and blast his music and singalong and act like nothing’s wrong. "As soon as I drop them off I can have a good cry." The businesswoman said she has done everything in her power to protect her children. "My kids don’t anything that goes on in the outside world and I’ve managed to I’m holding on by a thread and I know I’m so close to that not happening, but while it’s still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can." Kim admitted that it is a "fulltime job" but it is worth it. She said she just wants her children to have a happy childhood.

"I had the best dad and the best memories, and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that, that’s what I would want for them.

"Why would I bring that energy to them? That’s real heavy grown-up s**t that they’re not ready to deal with."
